Warranty Exclusions
The following conditions will void the warranty and exclude the batteries from coverage:
- Installation of the battery that does not follow the EnnoCar installation manual.
- Mixing of battery modules. This includes:
- Mixing modules from different manufacturers;
- Mixing new modules with old modules;
- Mixing modules from different battery packs.
- Failure to start or drive the vehicle for at least 30 minutes every 15 days after the battery installation.
- Failure to perform battery balancing at the following intervals:
- Every 3 months for cylindrical batteries;
- Every 6 months for steel prismatic batteries.
- Damage to the high-voltage battery caused by a vehicle accident or improper installation by the vehicle owner or a third party.
- Twisting, bending, or otherwise physically damaging the battery modules and accessories during installation.
- Storing or using the battery in unsuitable conditions. The battery must be stored or used in a dry, heat-dissipating environment. Long-term storage temperatures must be between -20°C and 35°C, as specified in the manual. Exposure to water or pressure from heavy objects is prohibited.
- Improper use or maintenance, including overcharging, over-discharging, or using the battery beyond its specified limits.
- If the high-voltage battery is depleted to less than 20% due to:
- Fuel depletion;
- Engine or regenerative system failure;
- User error.
Prolonged periods of the vehicle being left in neutral with the engine on, preventing the high-voltage battery from charging, may result in permanent damage.
- Tampering with, opening, disassembling, or removing the high-voltage battery from the vehicle, except when necessary for repairing or servicing other vehicle components.
- The warranty will be void if the following diagnostic codes, or their equivalent from the manufacturer, are present:
- P3191 (engine will not start);
- P3193 (fuel depletion);
- P3190 (engine under power);
- P0A0F (engine failed to start);
- C1256 (low accumulator pressure).
These codes indicate the vehicle’s inability to charge the high-voltage battery, which may result in permanent damage.
- Battery damage due to issues with one or more components of the hybrid system.
